Debby has presented programs at corporations, law firms, business associations, educational conferences and universities. Her speeches and workshops are described as practical, powerful and engaging.
Debby is also the CEO of Novateur Partners, an executive coaching and leadership development consultancy serving lawyers, entrepreneurs, corporate leaders and the organizations in which they work. Novateur is known for combining extensive real-world experience with entrepreneurial creativity to assist its clients in developing practical strategies for success.
Prior to founding Novateur Partners in 2002, Debby practiced corporate law for over a decade at a large Atlanta firm and later in her own practice. She has also worked as a management consultant at Bain & Company. Debby graduated magna cum laude from Duke’s Sanford School of Public Policy and a holds a JD with High Honors from the Duke University School of Law. She received her certification as a professional co-active coach through The Coaches Training Institute and has earned the credential of Professional Certified Coach from the International Coach Federation.
Guest 2: Karen Dietz is a veteran in business storytelling, and is one of the originals in the field. In 2013 John Wiley publishers recruited Karen for their Dummies series. Her book Business Storytelling for Dummies was published, quickly praised, and became a bestseller within a year. She opened up the San Diego, CA 2013 TEDx conference with her moving talk on the impact of story listening to change lives and companies.
With a BA in communication, she received her Masters and PhD from the University of Pennsylvania. In the business world for 20 years, she continued being trained in storytelling by top ranked performance tellers. Karen is also the former Executive Director of the National Storytelling Network association. For 6 years she was a mover and sharking the field as the Program Director, then Chair, of the Story in Organizations community of practice. Clients include: Disney, Princess Cruises, Citrix, Avery-Dennison, nonprofits, and entrepreneurs.
