01 Lamborn Family Vineyards, Howell Mountain, Napa Valley, Invites You To Go Fly Fishing! – Brian Tyler Lamborn

The very first “Family Vineyard” label in California, the Lamborns have been grape farming and producing elegant wines from Napa Valley’s prestigious Howell Mountain for over three generations. Located 2,200 feet above sea level, the Mountain’s volcanic soil and distinct mezzo climate provides their small eight acre vineyard with uniquely ideal growing conditions. Lamborn is producing Cabernets and Zinfandels of the highest quality and intensity, all handcrafted by “Celebrity Winemaker” Heidi Barrett. A “family business” in every sense of the term, the Lamborn Family does all of the farming, production, and distribution themselves.

03 Master of Wine Teaches Tradition and Transition in Sud de France Master-Level Webinar Program – Rosemary George

Rosemary George is one of the first women in the world to pass the Master of Wine exams in 1979. Her area of expertise and gouleyant enthusiasm is Southern France and Languedoc-Roussillon which she has been following for the past thirty years. “Why the Languedoc? Quite simply, it is without doubt the most exciting and innovative wine region of France. Everything is possible; the appellations may lay down ground rules, but the parallel vins de pays allow for unlimited experimentation, creating a host of new and exciting wines.” George will be leading webinars covering both tradition and transition in the French Wine Society’s Sud de France Master-Level Program

04 An Insider’s Introduction To The Languedoc – Rosemary George

Rosemary George, Master of Wine writes on her Taste Languedoc blog, “Over the last twenty years or so this vast vineyard, which stretches from the Spanish border round to the delta of the Rhone has undergone a dramatic transformation, so that the wines have improved out of all recognition. And that pace of change continues unabated, with each vintage bringing new wine growers and new wines. Those are the wines and people I want to talk about, as well as old established favourites. And since wine goes with food, I do not intend to ignore the rich gastronomy of the region.”
