Debra Emerson, CEO, of St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center, discusses the Center’s mission to empower individuals with developmental disabilities and its 18th Morning Glory Brunch fundraiser set for Saturday, April 27 at the Center’s main campus in East County. Penny Howard and her daughter Lily, Spokespersons for ECHO Connection/Kannaway, talk about the therapeutic effects of CBD and cannabinoids for those with serious disorders. Penny’s other daughter, Harper, who had a rare genetic disorder that makes it difficult to control seizures, benefited from CBD hemp oil called Real Scientific Hemp Oil (RSHO). Penny and Lily discuss their presentation at a Kannaway Believe event at the Sheraton Marina Hotel.
