02 Gloria Ferrer: Over 400 Gold Medals and 30 Outstanding 90+ Ratings In the Last 5 Years – Steven Urberg
A rich montage of flavors is hand-farmed at Gloria Ferrer’s Sonoma Carneros estate vineyards. The 2008 Brut Rosé (92% Pinot Noir, 8% Chardonnay) is a superb cheese wine and complements the hard-to-pair artichoke. It serves faithfully as well as a delicious apéritif or with a wide range of cuisine from fresh oysters to grilled prawns, salmon, mussels and olives. The newest sparkling wine release from Gloria Ferrer is a Non-Vintage (NV) Blanc de Blancs made exclusively from Carneros estate-grown Chardonnay. Savor accordingly! Steven Urberg has been with the winery full-time since 2001. As Winemaker for Gloria Ferrer Caves & Vineyards, his favorite go-to food with his sparkling wines is sushi, bar-none.
