In the latest episode of This Week in Marketing, I had the pleasure of interviewing Chris Dyer and Tom Mumford – the two young & successful owners of Undergrads – an innovative moving company based in South Carolina.
Undergrads has a different model than the moving companies we’re used to. The company simply provides the movers, whereas the client is responsible for providing the truck. Clients are able to save a significant amount of money by taking this route!
We kick off the show discussing the moving industry and how it’s been impacted by the current pandemic. We touch on some ways the industry has grown and where it’s headed in the future.
The second segment is all about building trust as a growing business. Given how up-close-and-personal the moving business is, we get some excellent tidbits from Tom and Chris on how to build trust with clients right out of the gate. pay for my homework go to link https://www.myrml.org/outreach/phd-advisor-recommendation-letter/42/ follow site go to site https://www.nationalautismcenter.org/letter/esl-descriptive-essay-editing-service-for-university/26/ can you purchase viagra from a chemist https://teleroo.com/pharm/viagra-w-lublinie/67/ propranolol and adderall research case studiesВ go here cheapest proscar go to link https://dvas.org/viagra-work-for-women-5025/ ready essays free source turabian style essay recommendation essay examples essay on writing an essay https://web.ics.purdue.edu/~asub/?doc=how-to-prepare-research-proposal enter site all about essay writing duree effets viagra enter site follow site https://heystamford.com/writing/buy-essays-online-college/8/ master thesis computer science chalmers thesis guidelines apa maqui berry side effects cheap viagra levitra cialis best essay websites see url Spoiler – half the battle is simply showing up on time! Chris and Tom give us a rundown of their proven vetting process for employees, and the little things that make monumental differences in building trust – and prompting reviews…
Segment three shifts to marketing. We discuss the importance of reviews on a local level, some good tools to use – Google Reviews, Facebook, and more interestingly, Nextdoor. Tom, Chris, and I talk about the challenges for taking a small operation to a state-wide level all the way to nationwide, and how to adjust your marketing plan accordingly.
The final segment gets into the nitty gritty details of managing growing pains as a small business. We come full circle in talking about the revolutions in the moving industry – and any other industry that requires you to go into client’s homes.
Do you have a small business with lots of client facetime?
If so, this episode is definitely worth the listen!1
