Our first guest was Richard Dominguez, Executive Director of Literacy Chicago. Richard spoke about the literacy services that his organization provides to adults in the Chicago area. In addition to giving students the opportunity to gain reading skills and learn English, Literacy Chicago also prepares students for employment.

Our second guests were Sierra Visher Kroha, Executive Director of San Diego Social Ventures Partners, and her organization’s board chair, Scott Tritt. We learned how SDSVP is helping nonprofit organizations work more like for-profit entities.
