Our show started off with conversation between host, Jose Cruz, and wsRadio president, Wade Taylor regarding the importance of media in promoting literacy.
Our first guest was Pradeep Gidwani, Medical Director of Healthy Development and First Steps Home Visiting Program. He joined us to talk about the American Academy of Pediatrics, Reach Out and Read, and the important role this program plays in educating parents about the need to read to their children and have a relationship with them that carries into the rest of their lives.
Secondly, we were joined by Mark Welling, Senior VP of Marketing & Outreach for Waterford.org.
