With legal adult use of cannabis just around the corner, this show focuses on the marketing challenges and opportunities in the field. Big money is being thrown into the Green Rush and it was our mission to find out how marketing dollars are being spent!

Our guests this week are Kendra Losee of Mota Marketing and Roni Stetter of Righteous Relations. Both have extensive backgrounds supporting both B2B and B2C companies in the industry.

The first section of the show is devoted to the industry’s strategies to change perception of “weed culture” from a stoner fest into a serious adult wellness product. While both perceptions presently exist, there are a growing number of consumers relying on cannabis products for wellness purposes.

In the middle of the show, we touch on the different types of marketing channels that have historically been successful and some that are still challenging. With federal law still governing many channels, we talk strategy for online marketers as well. Many industry leaders are expecting a new “type” of customer to join the market after legalization and we discuss ways for capturing this group.

Winners and losers after legalization are briefly discussed in the final section of the show. From publishers to illegal dispensaries, there are several categories of players that will be impacted come January 1, 2017. Enjoy the show!
