We wrapped up the last show talking about ways to get those creative juices flowing to build out memorable content, as well as mapping out the editorial calendar.

Segment One: Sam and Kevin kick off the show talking about content distribution. They discuss the importance of formats like blog posts, long-form guides, eBooks, videos, and other ways to get the message out. To supplement the content formats, Sam and Kevin give some good tips on optimizing for the search engines and making sure the content attracts the rights sets of eyeballs.

Segment Two: The second segment is all about choosing the right channels to promote the content. Sam and Kevin touch on key practices like topic clustering, managing a social media presence for different business goals, which platforms are appropriate for what, as well as some tips for finding where the bulk of your target customers hang out online!

Segment Three: In the latter half of the show, Sam and Kevin go beyond distributing content on native channels and discuss the importance of getting the message out on external platforms. This involves tactics like guest posting, influencer collaborations, and more. Sam gives us some great insight on how to research and find the best platforms to get your name out there!

Segment Four: Sam continues his lesson on finding key opportunities for content distribution from segment three. To wrap up the show, we go over the basics of measuring success. More specifically, performing a content audit on-site assets. This involves gathering all native posts, developing an organizational system, assigning grades for each piece, and what actions to take!
