She and her partner, Grace Lebow, have helped hundreds of families with their difficult parents. Their book, "Coping with Your Difficult Older Parent: A Guide for Stressed-Out Children" is a culmination of their work, which has received publicity in the New York Times, Washington Post, Newsweek and Time Magazine.
