To celebrate the release of the 2008 Lion’s Run Cabernet Sauvignon, the Ubuntu Annex will offer complimentary tastings and light refreshments ending August 18. The new vintage will also be offered at 20% off the $70 per bottle price during the month when purchased in-store. Lion’s Run Vineyard is owned by Ubuntu founder, Sandy Lawrence, who planted the estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon in 1996 on a gentle slope overlooking the Napa Valley. The vineyard is certified organic and biodynamically-farmed, and is adjacent to the gardens of Ubuntu Restaurant. Only 400 cases of the vintage were produced. Ubuntu is “a community-focused” vegetarian Michelin star restaurant and yoga studio located at 1130 Main Street, Napa. Link: Segment-1 Audio-Blog;
