About the Host:
Lee Thomas is an avid cigar aficionado who started his love affair with the industry in the early 90’s when he decided to investigate whether or not there was a shortage at the time of a particular double corona due to demand and a shortage of wrapper leaf tobacco. Lee then received his first copy of cigar aficionado magazine from a neighbor, which just happens to have this 4 page story on the growth of wrapper leaf which gave understanding and credibility to the shortage at hand not being artificially generated.
Lee was completely won over by the beauty, design and content of Cigar Aficionado Magazine and soon after launched his own internet cigar site called DXR Cigar. Lee was also influenced by many public icons, which all seem to have a love affair for the sticks! Gretzky, Devito, Rush, Pearlman, Kennedy and others. Outside the cigar lounge Lee works as a freelance media professional on radio, in print and in front of the camera.
