In this episode, Jessica shares her story of how she got into the media industry, from her first no-sleep job after graduating from college with a degree in journalism, to producing network television and even opening her own media training agency. Jessica tells Nicole about a time she took a risk that paid off big, and the two discuss the importance of having a strong public relations team with great relationships who will represent you well to the media. Nicole asks Jessica for her advice on what makes a great, eye catching pitch, and Jessica ends by echoing Nicole’s age-old advice: let the pros do what they do best. Let the media trainers prepare you for your interviews, and let your publicists secure media coverage!
