The best-selling Riunite Lambrusco enjoyed a recent package redesign which appears very upscale and chic. Riunite Lambrusco is available in a white, rose and traditional red. The dry Ottocentro Nero Lambrusco IGT from Albinea Canali is more limited in production and we can expect the introduction of Movendo Dry Lambrusco IGT and companion dry Riesling in the US in January, 2009. The point of our chat is to motivate listeners to rethink Lambrusco wines if you have not tasted a Banfi import in recent years. With today’s multi-ethnic cuisine, off-dry or dry, Lambrusco’s refreshing fruitiness and uplifting acidity proves to be a perfect partner with salty, fatty or spicy foods.
