About The Host:
Jacqueline Marcell was a television executive who barely survived as caregiver to her (once-adoring) obstinate elderly father and sweet but ailing mother, both with undiagnosed Alzheimer's. But after fighting through an unsympathetic medical system, endless tears, depleting her parents' life savings and much of her own, she solved everything medically, behaviorally, socially, legally, financially and emotionally.
Passion to save others (especially from getting so frustrated they commit elder abuse) resulted in ELDER RAGE (a Book-of-the-Month Club Selection), the Coping with Caregiving radio show, media including TODAY, CNN, PBS Alzheimer's Documentary, AARP Bulletin cover story, Womans Day, Prevention, hundreds of radio/TV interviews and presentations including for the California Governor's Conference, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, National Security Agency, and Florida House of Representatives. She also speaks about breast cancer, writing, self-publishing and securing celebrity endorsements.
