Kim Fennell, president and CEO, deCarta Inc., discusses the specific role that deCarta’s technology plays in the location-based services market and how customers benefit from the technology. He also talks about the increasing interest from consumers in LBS applications and some of the other trends he sees moving forward in the LBS marketplace.;
Smedley and Mike Carrozzo, chief editor, M2M magazine, go over some of the additional big announcements that came out at the Intl. CTIA Wireless Show in Las Vegas, March 23-25, including a new device that will enable insurance companies to charge their customers based on their actual driving behaviors and a new pricing program for M2M customers’ data services. Smedley and Carrozzo also discussed their opinions of the newly released iPad device.
