Peggy Smedley discusses a number of new consumer electronics services being offered by Target and how these services compare with similar initiatives from Best Buy. The services include a product support hotline, wireless shopping stations in stores for purchasing and activating mobile phones, as well as a trade-in program that lets consumers trade in their old devices for credit toward new ones. Smedley also talked about some of the recent projects Sprint has been involved in and its new M2M-centric Website.;
Dallin Doney, business development manager, ANT Wireless, and Dylan Casey, product manager, Google Inc., discuss the collaboration between the two companies at the 2010 Tour de France, which gave fans access to realtime data about participants during the race via the Internet. They also talked about some of the other companies that participated in the project and what types of technology was used to transfer data from the cyclists onto the Web.;

They also talked about the growth of the Android platform and ANT+’s role in the smartphone market.;

Some of the specific apps discussed include an app that lets college students buy, sell, or request college materials through classified listings based on their location; another that helps you find cheaper prices for products you are interested in buying, as well as a useful app for any auto mechanic out there, and more.
