The Southern Foodways Alliance (SFA) documents, studies, and celebrates the diverse food cultures of the changing American South. The Oral History Initiative seeks to capture stories of Southerners who grow, create, serve, and consume food and drink. In-House Internships are prearranged, structured learning experiences usually lasting 1-2 weeks. A Guided Internship at the SFA offers the opportunity to pursue either an oral history or multi-media project based in any location within the South. Applications for 2011 Internships are due February 1, 2011.
