The Adirondack Coast Wine Trail is North Americas newest wine region established June 2013 and travels 33 miles from Chazy through the heart of historic Plattsburgh to Morrisonville linking six local wineries. You’ll enjoy Pinot Noirs and Rieslings as well as specialty wines such as estate, fruit and honey wines in addition to hard cider. The Adirondack Coast Wine Trail just recently became part of the first ever International Wine Trail. The 140-mile trail connects wineries in New York, Vermont and Quebec. The Adirondack Coast is characterized by dairy farms, apple orchards, vineyards, sugar shacks, and farm stands that dot the undulating hills, meadows and pastures rolling down to the waters of Lake Champlain. Elfs Farm Winery & Cider Mill was established in 2008 as Plattsburgh’s first winery. This family owned vineyard makes American Hard Cider and cold climate wines. The winemaker specializes in Apple wines utilizing fresh fruit grown along Lake Champlain. Sean Frey is Co-Owner and Winemaker. He is the local representative to The Northern Grapes Project, a multi state multi University USDA funded project.

The Wine Foundry is a custom winery located in the heart of the 8th St. wineries in Sonoma, California. Everything short of growing the grapes happens within the winery walls. Clients from around the world can participate as much or as little as they want in winemaking activities from sorting, punch downs and pressing, to private blending sessions with the winemaking team. Napa Valley Bio-Correct Estate-Grown Wise Acre Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, St. Helena – Lynn Grace
Wise Acre Vineyard is family owned and operated. Lynn and Kirk Grace personally hand-farm a half-acre using bio-correct practices, developed by Kirk Grace, based on organic and biodynamic principles. Their half acre vineyard is planted to the Bosch © clone. It sits at 680 feet elevation in the Deer Park microclimate. They use French Taransaud and Sylvain oak barrels and do not fine. At present, the only way to procure Wise Acre Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is direct from their website.
