04 Nuclear Weapons Worker’s National Day of Remembrance
We’re live, a wireless remote broadcast from the Atomic Testing Museum, an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution in Las Vegas. Hundreds are here, many traveled from around the country, to honor the thousands of Americans who risked their heath and in some cases even their lives, during the development of America’s nuclear weapons programs.

Glenn S. Podonsky, Chief Health, Safety and Security Officer, reports directly to the office of the Secretary of Energy, and is here today, having just arrived from Washington D.C., and discusses his role and his agency’s responsibilities relating to our Nuclear Weapons Workers with John Donovan, host of Las Vegas is Talking.
