where he has worked for more than 20 years. His images have appeared on over 100 Sports Illustrated covers.
Peter’s recent advertising work includes photography for Canon’s Rebel T1i and 7D.
Peter has also shot advertising for Nike, adidas, Visa, Coca-Cola, and Footlocker among others.
His editorial clients have included: Time, Life, People, Money, Playboy, Runner’s World, Newsweek, USA Weekend and The New York Times.
In addition to covering 8 Olympic games and 34 Super Bowls, Peter has shot 14 NBA Finals, covered the Stanley Cup Finals, the World Series and the Kentucky
Derby. He has shot portraits of numerous world famous athletes including: Muhammad Ali, Joe Montana and Magic Johnson
Peter teaches a yearly sports photography workshop every spring in Denver, CO. He has also taught at the Santa Fe Photographic Workshops and Rich
Clarkson’s Sports Photography Workshop.
He a member of Canon’s “Explorers of Light” program, a Western Digital Creative Master and he is a “ Microsoft Icon of Imaging."
Peter Lives in Manhattan Beach, California.
